Parr Ministry Team

Monday 23rd March 2020

The Archbishop of Canterbury has issued the following interim statement:

“In the light of the Government’s measures, announced by the Prime Minister this evening, we urge everyone to follow the instructions given. We will give a fuller statement of advice as soon as possible. Let us continue to pray, to love, to care for the vulnerable, and build our communities, even while separated.”

In the light of these statements I ask you to observe the following until and unless further guidance follows:

All weddings and baptisms are suspended with immediate effect. Advice on how to handle the financial and other implications of this will follow.

Funerals are still permitted with limited numbers attending, though clearer guidance will follow as quickly as possible.

Churches are closed for private prayer with immediate effect.

See Letter fromBishopPaul for more information

The Churches in the Parr Ministry Team consist of Bible believing Christians who have found that a living faith in Jesus Christ has changed our lives

Jesus said that He came so that we might enjoy life in all its fullness (John 10 v for more10)

Therefore, working together we offer a whole range of activities during the week. Our aim is to see our community changed by the love of Christ which we have experienced ourselves

Please feel free to try any of the activities we offer.

The Parr Team takes its duty and obligation to protect all extremely seriously. We have adopted the national Church of England’s robust procedures and guidelines. You can find out more about the national policies and procedures at www.churchofengland.org/safeguarding
